POISE, or Process Engineering Series of Events, is an annual event held by the Chemical Engineering Student Family, Faculty of Engineering, Gadjah Mada University. This event is held to accommodate and encourage the innovation of Chemical Engineering students in particular and students in general. POISE provides access to expand networking with fellow chemical engineers as well as students from various universities. Furthermore, POISE provides access to knowledge exchange with practitioners and academics through pre-event, competition, and post-event.

With the theme “Empowering Industry Innovation: Cultivating Sustainable Future for the Green Economy”, POISE UGM 2024 contributes to supporting industry innovation, cultivating sustainability, and building a greener future. POISE UGM 2024 also supports Indonesia’s national agenda for transitioning to a green economy and achieving net zero emissions targets. With a focus on industrial innovation, a culture of sustainability, and innovate solutions for a green economy, POISE UGM 2024 has the potential to positively impact the environment and drive the transition to a more sustainable future.
